Marketing and Client Relations Manager
The Safety Institute of America is seeking candidates that have a true entrepreneurial spirit and who take an active role in their success. This position is the front line of our operation and includes direct (initial and follow-up) contact with clients, both during and after service, to ensure their satisfaction. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, accountable, and have a lot of positive energy. In addition, they will have at least 3 years of business-to-business sales experience, possess an Associate’s degree in marketing or business, or proven experience in marketing, have proven ability to prospect, have the insight to understand the customers’ primary business concerns and the keen instinct to identify and inject opportunities as appropriate, will be results-oriented, will understand what it takes to get the job done, and will understand the manufacturing process. Knowledge of safety and health programs is a plus. This is a commission-based opportunity with salary potential of $65,000/year.
Job duties:
Prospect, develop, maintain and grow business relationships with regards to the customer base; focus on cultivating new business and strengthening existing relationships; provide safety compliance solutions to existing and new clients; manage and maintain the account territory; consistently meet or exceed the monthly sales quota with acceptable profitability; maintain acceptable knowledge of company profiles and abilities; craft non-traditional agreements using superior negotiating skills; identify, build and project vision in an account; identify what is important to the client and demonstrate how our products and services relate to and result in savings or earnings for the client.
Job requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years outside sales/account management experience in a quota-driven sales environment, a solid work ethic, excellent prospecting and new business development skills and an interest in safety compliance solutions. Demonstrated achievements, time and territory management abilities and PC literacy required. Will be available to travel based upon client need and location, will have excellent sales and negotiation skills, strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to interact with diverse clients, the ability to attract, develop, and retain professional relations, will demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to problem solve. The Safety Institute of America seeks professional and dynamic safety professionals to deliver various safety and health training programs, perform various aspects of safety and health program management to include training, compliance audits, consultation and other safety and health related requests from our clients. Our Safety Professionals are a unique group with decades of experience and possess certifications in all areas of safety and health. Our programs are a cut above the competition because our staff.
Job duties:
Provide dynamic and exciting safety training, comprehensive safety and health compliance audits and excellent customer service. Customer service is critical and follow-up is an essential part of the position.
Job requirements:
The ideal Safety Professional will possess a B.S. Occupational Safety and Health or related field, 10 years experience as a safety professional in general industry, 5 years experience as an instructor for safety and health programs and excellent interpersonal skills. This is a pay-per-contract position with the possibility of becoming full-time. Starting salary is $18.00 per hour.
